The scope of our search was limited due not just to budget, but also because we needed to find a place in one of a handful of specific (and highly desirable) school districts. I discovered that affordable rentals were both hard to come by and - on websites like this one - rented out almost as soon as they were listed (like, 10 applications within an hour of listing). I felt like we were looking for a needle in a haystack, and had no idea how I would find anything to suit my family's needs, especially coming from out-of-state. I am SO HAPPY I found Leah! Although we were small-time clients looking to rent, Leah treated us the way I imagine she treats all her clients - she got a sense of what we needed, and spent time and care trying to help us find something appropriate. I was so impressed that she didn't just set up a search portal for us and let us sift through properties - since our criteria were relatively narrow, she actually took the time to write personal notes to me pointing out possibilities when she saw listings that she thought might work. That amazed me. And she always offered to do FaceTime/online walkthroughs if we couldn't make it in to see something. She is clearly all about building relationships with her clients! Leah promptly answered my numerous questions about different properties. She met us for a few different viewings with a cheerful demeanor and a LOT of patience. When a rental we were interested in was given to someone who offered a whole year's rent up front, Leah reassured me that we would find our place, and not to worry. And eventually, Leah helped us be first in the door to view a promising property, and made sure I had all my paperwork aligned to make it come together quickly. And all of it in such a friendly way! With Leah's help, we found a rental that is going to work so beautifully for our family! In this current environment, I don't think there's any way I could have found this on my own, especially from a different state. I am so grateful that she took the time to work with me, and when we are ready to look for a property to buy, I will definitely be calling her! Having seen her in action just working on finding a rental, I am sure she'd be an incredible buyer's agent.
